#369: Michael Bay’s Inferno

June 25, 2009

Notes from the Manager

Panel 3 refers to one of the bonus strips found in the first and as-yet-only Multiplex eBook (page 3, specifically), although Jason has undoubtedly said it many other times. Hopefully the second eBook will actually get done sometime this year, and then the next ones (followed by the print collection) won't be too far behind.

As for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (a.k.a. Transformers 2), I haven't seen it yet. And, with as dull as I felt the first one was,* I would happily not see this one, either, except that I have to, for The Triple Feature. sigh

* Brainless and loud I can handle if the action is good, but I don't even think Michael Bay could direct a good action scene to save his life — and yet so, so many of you seem to disagree.

UPDATE (6/26): Hey, everybody! I will be at Think Galacticon 2009 this Sunday at 10:30am, on the "Anarchism and the Superhero" panel (weird, I know) moderated by Terry Gant of Chicago's very own Third Coast Comics along with All Things Dork's Jeffrey Smith and noir/SF writer Michael Moreci.
